This page contains lots of useful information for parents, carers and pupils about how to access our high-quality remote learning.
If you are unable to come to school, then you can access all your lessons through Teams which can be found on Airhead. Click here to access Airhead. Pupils should log in using their username and password they would use in school.
For those in Year 7, you have been posted a work pack containing English and Maths work to complete up to the end of the isolation period.
For those in Year 8 and 11; your teachers will be delivering lessons live during your normal lesson time, so you need to ensure you sign in to your subject team group at the correct time. This will be for the period of your isolation period.
For those in Year 11 who require a device to complete their work on, please complete the form here - https://forms.office.com/Pages/ResponsePage.aspx?id=WnSRoNi3ek2yphNZBT1FEJonD3WBWL9CmG8kuasY2MNUM1BOT0g4U0Y2VkkwM0pQQUNSSTJIUDRURS4u&fbclid=IwAR2g5l1-8nUcaK2od9FyDm-h-popUy1YfdJaiOc0fXE49WqGkTYZRX7dMWw
For pupils in other year groups that are unable to attend school your teachers will be uploading the lesson resources regularly, so you need to ensure you are keeping up to date with the work your peers are doing in their lessons.
For all enquiries relating to home learning, accessing the live lessons or accessibility issues, please email us on email@example.com and we will endeavour to get back to you as soon as possible.
There are some useful documents in the links at the bottom of this page that may be of use to support with remote learning.
Anyone with symptoms will be eligible for testing and this can be arranged via https://www.nhs.uk/ask-for-a-coronavirus-test or by calling 119. People who do not have symptoms should not request a test unless this has been specifically requested by Public Health England or the local authority
Additional information regarding Public Health England’s ‘Stay at Home’ Guidance can also be found at: https://www.gov.uk/government/publications/covid-19-stay-at-home-guidance/stay-at-home-guidance-for-households-with-possible-coronavirus-covid-19-infection.
If your child, or anyone in your household, does develop symptoms, you can seek advice from NHS 111 at https://www.nhs.uk/conditions/coronavirus-covid-19/check-if-you-have-coronavirus-symptoms/ or by phoning 111.
As a community, we can also help reduce the risk of spreading COVID-19 by:
- washing your hands with soap and water often – do this for at least 20 seconds
- using hand sanitiser gel if soap and water are not available
- washing your hands as soon as you get home
- covering your mouth and nose with a tissue or your sleeve (not your hands) when you cough or sneeze
- putting used tissues in the bin immediately and wash your hands afterwards
The Academy would like to take this opportunity to thank you for your patience and understanding. I am sure you will appreciate that we have to follow certain safety and precautionary measures to keep all pupils safe during this time.
